WHAT IS A BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN?

A born-again Christian is someone who has decided to live life to please God instead of to please himself or herself.  He or she has decided to live in third place behind God and others, and has asked Christ to come into his or her life to LEAD it.

God has given all humans the free will to accept or reject His principles and complete authority.  He will not force His will or standards on anyone, but He hopes we study the life and voluntary mission of His Son, and then choose wisely.

When a person forfeits or surrenders his or her free will and gives it back to God, two things happen: 1) The Holy Spirit instantly seals that person from evil.  Satan will not ever be able to grasp that person and pull him or her into hell.  2) God begins to gradually transform that person from a selfish human being into a humble spiritual being.  That transformation is the process known as being born-again, and it is a lifetime process.

Are born-again Christians sealed from illness and injury?  No, but God will walk with them through their hardships.  They will have His Presence and empowerments in their lives when they need them, so their lives will become very abundant.  They will be able to do all things in His will and in His Name, including exorcisms.

Are the sins of born-again Christians forgiven?  Yes, all of them.  Past, present, and future.  Over and over.  God will pick them up each time they stumble and continue to transform them into spiritual beings. 

Why would born-agains ever sin again?  Because they will still be humans who will occasionally think thoughts which are not pleasing to God, so they will still be sinners.  The Holy Spirit will remind them of their mistakes, and they will sincerely ask for forgiveness each time.  They will be instantly forgiven because God knows their hearts, so they will continue to live their simple-yet-powerful lives in harmony with God.
